Do... if you want others to do.

I got this FWDed e-mail several times "Subject : Fwd: This are our Ministers!!!". I have been deleting it every time I receive. Now, I am fed up of receiving this e-mail from every other friend / colleague of mine.

All we do is we blame others, we blame these politicians that they do not respect the national flag.

However, do WE really give the respect to our National Flag / Anthem. Standing in public when the national anthem is sung is Obvious, as we all think of our own reputation.

But, do we do the same thing, i.e. rising to our feet, when the same we listen on radio or we watch on Television?? Do WE do..??

If you do not do so, then just give a thought about it, about what lesson are you teaching the siblings, the other family members, to the children.

If you do not do so, then never ever blame the next generations for their disrespect towards you or your nation.

You and I, We all are responsible for our future... for our future generation.

Instead of blaming others, lets just spread the right attitude. Instead of showing what should not be done, lets focus on what should be done.

I am inspired by Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam's thought about positive parenting. A good thought, few good words have a much more powerful and pleasant effect than few negative words or negative thoughts. Negative thoughts urge our mind to focus on the negative thing only. In Earl Nightingale's words, "You become what you think about!".

So, lets not urge others to focus on what's bad. We are the parents for the current and the future generations. Lets inspire the future generations and avoid spoiling them.

Lets stop spreading these few situations and stop publicity for the few people who you feel are bad.

If you have issues with the Politicians of our country, then lets use our voting power and choose the one we think are appropriate. We have this power in hand at least.

Think about it, how many times you have received any article about Gopabandhu Das or Mahatma Gandhi or the Freedom fighters or the great people of the world who brought such change that we enjoy life today in our AC Car. How many times you read it completely, when you receive it? When you are focusing on what's bad and what's spoiled then you must not expect your kids, your siblings to be stop following bad things. They try to mirror you, and when you show a bad image to them you will see the same in them too.

If some day you scold your children for some silly mistake of his and scold him and beat him saying, "By doing this you are setting a wrong example for your siblings." Then as a parent what example are you setting to the other children of yours???

Think about it!!!

Are you wondering if I have gone crazy or have become mad?? Well, most of my friends thought so when they read my buzz.

Jayant, my friend, asked me, "Are you ok?".

Some anonymous people, whom I don't know personally commented like these:
> "It is as good as you practice 'Gayatri Mantra' or 'Vishnu Sahasra Nama'... ... :):):) It is only practicing and nothing else... Have nice day... :):)"
> "I like myself... So what? Go ahead with your self love..."
> "ohh goddamn..grt treatment 4 success employed by u..keep going and let me knw if u gt +ve results soon."

I replied with the following:
"I am perfectly fine and I not only like myself, I love myself... and FYI, this a success mantra from Brian Tracy and as per me Only if I like myself, then only I can like others. If I hate myself, I can never like anyone else."

Whatever I replied - did I reply anything wrong? Well, I don't think so... Only when your self-image is good, if your self-esteem is good, then only you can appreciate anyone else. Then only you can raise the self-esteem of others. Otherwise, you know the answer...

Whenever, you are nervous, you are low just chant this mantra, and you will see how you will lit up and would feel that self-confidence.

How many friends have you got such? I have got 3-4 (C, S, P, D) so far. Robin Sharma in one of his book "Who will cry when you die?" has mentioned that a person need to have 5 such friends. If he/she has got them then his life is worth living. Don't you think so? It's your that friend who always supports you blindly without trying to find out any benefit from supporting you. It is they who believe you, trust you, have faith on you, motivate you, support you... even more than your family members or anyone else. I am proud to have my best friends and they are with me in all shades of my life bearing that torch of comfort, care, affection, love, respect, honesty to drive me in the right direction. Hope you keeping in touch with your best friends.

Quote of the day - 01

This is the quote showing in my "daily table calendar" today. This quote has kept me engaged since morning. Every now and then this thought is flashing a glimpse of my past experiences, raising lot of questions in my mind. And those thoughts are making me overwhelmed of what I have achieved and what I have lost. That's forcing me to look at the calendar - quote and the picture in it - again and again. I must have looked at that quote today atleast 20-30 times or may be even more than that. It really is urging me to turn the pages of my past even faster. I feel like I am scampering even the digged pages of my life.

Yes, this is true and is a fact that everything costs you as, "There are no free lunches in this world!" You want something you have to pay some toll for that. Some time that toll is your friendship, your family, your existing career/job, your emotions, your wishes... Its upto us to decide what is important for us. We must make sure we invest on things that are most valuable in our life. It should be our family, friends, relations for the true ones will never return if you have ample money. I know you understand what I mean and I don't need to elaborate on this.

Hope you invest your time appropriately on right things/people/realtions.

Inspiration from 'Walk The Talk' - 02

Ah! Hope! few people come to my mind when the word 'Hope' is pronounced. They are: Mr. Barack Obama, My Mother, My Best Friend, My Sister, and few of my friends. Believe it or not, its just a coincidence that except Mr. President of U.S., all are females.

My brother too hopes lot of thing to happen. However, never says it openly, we can read his body language to understand that. So is the case of my hubby and my father. May be there are many other guys who 'Hope! for something they want'. Is it want or need. umm.. it's 'Want' I guess which suits in with 'Hope', cause if it's a 'Need' then people just hope they create a burning desire, a fire in them to get that thing done. However, exceptions are there, as when Mr. Obama said the word Hope, I felt that Need in his voice, which he wanted to convey to the residents of U.S. and the entire world. Ah! It's confusing... or may be I am just confused and not others.

Anyway. I just remembered that yes, I have couple of my school friends, who are guys, who still Hope for good things to happen. I too Hope for good things to happen. However, these days someone/something reminds me to Believe in the good things that I am hoping for. So, if I re-read the quote above I feel: "Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul and sings the tune without the words and never stops at all - and that's called as Belief" What do you think?

When I read these lines the first person who came to my mind immediately is my best friend C, who has worked so much on her leadership skills through the past few years. I am so proud that she has become a powerful, rather power-filling leader and for I have her in with me in this life.♥. I thank Lord for this.
