Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder...

The best and most beautiful things in life cannot be seen, not touched, but are felt in the heart.
~ Helen Keller

I feel so relaxed when I look at the sea... Whenever I see a beautiful picture with the sea in it's background, I feel so joyous and delighted.

This picture (taken from Michelle Sedas's blog) gave that feeling... So, thought of keeping it in my blog too...

And yeah, whenever I see a beautiful sea, I recall Andamaan Island every time; The only sea beaches me and my husband enjoyed together.

6th April 2013

My baby completed 9 months old today!!

upper two full teeth... lower two budding teeth... saying, "Nee nee... naa naa... maa maa... baa baa... paa paa... aaajaa... aaa dae...", fast crawling like a small baby elephant,  standing up on his own and then falling down, grabbing everything, chewing everything, him getting excited when he sees me in the evening, looking at the face and it's features, pulling hair - nose - ear - chains, crawling around the entire house, climbing up to the bathroom, trying to climb the cot, pulling every possible wire that comes to his reach, shouting at others, blabbering things when someone is talking over phone, scolding others if they don't follow the instructions to take him wherever he wants them to take, waking up everyone after he wakes up, long hairs, long but thin body, learning to immitate very fast, cunning, suspecting  peoples' presence even though they hide themselves, swift in recognising voices and smell, recognising me only when he sees my face (ofcourse now he recognises me by seeing just my feet too), smiling when he sees me and his father, laughing when we tickle him, smiling-laughing-jumping when he listens to rhymes from Manju....; these describe my baby.

How does God look like?? - Ask a Blind person

I was wondering yesterday, how many God and Goddess idles we have through out the world!! For every country, every state, every village, every religion... we have so many shapes and colors or God.

When I was kid I was told by our teachers and books that there is no shape of God. It's just the curious minds of people who give shape to thee and form different idles.

I always wonder who saw how Lord Krishna, Lord Shiva or any other God/Goddess look like? Is there any proof of that?

Then I recollected OMG (Oh My God!!) movie. Lord Krishna in Suit!! Nice movie...

Then this sudden thought came to my mind - we can see, so we formed the shapes of God. How about the blinds? They can't see anything - so for them how does God look like?

Does it ring a bell in your mind?? hmm... it did in mine. It's the blinds who can actually see the God!! For them there is no pre-assumptions. For them everything is dark. They do not know what does color mean. The color that they live their life in is only one color and we refer that as black. So, for them God would be shapeless. That's what God actually is - Right!!

May be that darkness is God for them!!

The next time I meet a blind person, I am gonna ask this question to her/him.

"Who is God for you and what does thee look like??"

Enjoying the cooler shades of tree..

Last to last sunday I made a visit to my friend's house around 10 AM, to whitefield area. It's the place where we stayed when I landed in Bangalore from Hyderabad. So, I have a soft corner for the area and the people there. I used to enjoy the ride from Kundahalli signal to Whitefield through Varthur road... Even though my house was 19 KMs from my office. However, somehow all the traffic exhaustion kind of got diluted on that patch of road. With cultivation fields on both side of the road, the brushing of wind on the face, used to lift my spirit. We left that house since, it was far off and the cold weather resulted in severe health issues in me. Also, baby planning was becoming a big issue after travelling for 18 KMs to and 20 KMs fro in bike.

That day I kind of relived the same experience. And it was way better this time since I took the road that connects Panathur and Varthur village. From the Varthur signal I took right to go towards Whitefield.

I could enjoy the long stretch of green fields and the shades of trees. Honestly, I loved the shade of the trees. The shade was cooler than that of A/C effect. The whole way I drove slow and enjoyed longer time under tree shades. Even though it was hot outside, it was much much cooler under the tree shade. I also, took a curry leave plant from road side.

Overall, it was a nice experince after a long time.

If you stay near Bellandur and want to go to Whitefield try the Panathur's connecting road... You will feel like you are in some cool and calm, relaxed village.
