Congratulations, Team Yaariaan!

http://www.indiantelevision.com/television/tv-channels/music-and-youth/bbc-worldwide-s-kaisi-yeh-yaariyaan-breaks-through-for-mtv-141114

Totally deserves it! Everything is best in this show. Starting from casting to the script everything is just awesome. Every small details are so well taken care that even our movie directors forget to note such details. And the make up is just superb. Hats off to the Makeup Dada. Every actor apart from the lead characters, other than the lead groups Fab5 and NH3 are also doing great job. And these details, these perfect acting, great camera work, beautiful editing and the dedication and hard work of everyone involved in the show is something that makes it worthwhile to watch, not just by teenagers but by women like me, not just from India but from across the world! There are issues prevailing in the society that are presented beautifully in the show and as they are. If one wants to understand the new generation then one must understand their point of view, their way of thinking, and the way they act on a situation.

So, everyone must watch it to understand these subtle yet significant nuances. I watch it for I re-live college days through these adorable friendships shown in Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan!

Live, Love and Laugh!

I do not like being judged by my name or surname. So stop asking me if I am a Telugu or Kannadika or Tamil or Odia or Mumbaikar etc etc. I am just a human being who doesn't differentiate anyone by the gender or caste or color or place, who believes that everyone else is human being too. And I hate to talk in my native language when I am surrounded by people who do not understand it. And yes I hate and avoid those people will talk in their native language when they are with me.

Now Facebook did not allow to keep a blank surname and I am fine with it, so I include my Son's name with me 😊:)

Rain, rain go away!

Oh this sudden arrival of rain when winter is expected! I hate this as its making us all sick of cold and fever. First my son fell sick. Then I feel sick and the whole Diwali planned leaves are wasted. And today again my son is having fever 99.5. I am just so worried now. Diwali celebration was also not so great and felt really bored by this all cloudy shady shady day. πŸ’¦Rain, rain, seriously go away. At least let your friend Sun to show his face once in the day time. πŸ˜ͺ😰😷😩

I had written in facebook few days back that my little son wants to play. Please make my son well again so he can play! Yes, Bangalore needs you as there's water shortages, yet you need not make everyone fall sick. You know what I feel like saying, "I hate you heavy rain!" Anything too much is bad and dangerous. So please stop being dangerous for there many sick people affected by you around us. Please give us a break!  And as the nursery rhymes says "Come again another day." 😭

Pyramid food court in EGL IT Park, Bangalore

Whenever I have breakfast at Pyramid food court in EGL IT park,  I sit in one of the tables that are near the gates. I face towards the fountains. I see people moving around; some are drinking tea or coffee or some other drink; some are just inhaling fresh air and walking; some are taking their kids to the near by creche; some are rushing to the Office that are beyond the gates of the food court. And I enjoy those moments happening around me.

However what I most enjoy is the fountain and the water flowing from it. It makes me calm. How much stressed I may be, whatever things I may be worried about, that early morning scene makes me serene. I don't know why or how that happens,  but that visual effect brings me peace. It feels so good, can't explain! Those small fountains where the water looks like milk is coming out of it, that white color - may be that's what does the magic.

There are many fountains in this IT park, however none has the same effect as this one has on me. If the weather is cloudy, those smell from the plants makes the scene even more charming. It feels great! Today is great!  Everyday is great! It's really a small yet nice IT park... <3 ing it

And yeah as I said earlier, this is not the only fountain in #EGL. There are so many gorgeous ones. The below is another gorgeous one near to the building where I work.

In this polluted and always busy city these waterfalls help me release the stress.

HIGHWAY movie rocks! Randeep Hooda rocks!

Tu saath hai... Din raat hai... Maahi ve! Maahi ve!

I am crazy about this one song, these days... First, because it's a beautiful song. Second, because Rahman sir has sung it so mesmerising. Third, the chemistry between Randeep Hooda and Alia Bhat is simply awesome.

I love the acting skills of Randeep. And I am in love with Randeep's smile. The most beautiful smile of Bollywood industry is his. Whenever I see him smile I recall that dialogue from his movie "Mere Khwabon Main Jo Aaye" (One of my favorite movies) - "Mushkaan jo saare gham mitade!!" (Smile that the power to heal all the pain!!). I have fallen in love with the way he speaks with his eyes and the way he says I Love You Veera in every scene, every stare, without actually speaking in words. Even though he repeatedly says to the partners that he will sell her to the brothels, it became obvious that he was lying when he said about how the poor females/wives are treated. He had started liking her from the time she helped them from the police. I wished at the end he would have actually said "Veera, main tumse bahat pyar karat hoon". However, I feel it's more effective the way they have shot.

Rahman sir has sung it so _____ , I don't have words to explain how. The song is so soulful.

Also, after seeing the video of Maahi Ve song, I feel there were some essential romantic scenes that should have been included in the movie. Like the one where Veera is drinking water and Mahabir wipes her lips and chin. Also, the one where they are sleeping on the bus and where Veera drags Mahabir's face to make him see her on top of the bus. I felt a bit lost in between scenes where the above scenes are cut. They should have disclosed the death of Mahabir just before the last scene. Cause once Veera was at her home again the scenes felt soulless and lost. Once Mahabir was dead there was no curiosity for me to wait to see what is next. The time I spent to sit and watch the movie till the end was like a big punishment.

I know I jot down my thoughts so late. What to do my kiddo and my office work drain out all energy out of me end of the day. Today however I have less work so felt like pouring my love for highway. This weekend I am planning to add one more gem to my DVD collections. The best thing about this movie is that I can watch this movie again and again because of Randeep's acting. He is one my favourite actor, an actor whose movies I would never miss ever.

I would give the movie 8 out of 10. The inclusion of those cut scenes would have helped me give 9. And change of the disclosure of Mahabir's death would have helped me give 10 out of 10.

Whatever may be but love story of Mahabir and Veera would remain in my memory for ever and I cherish their love. I cherish the acting of the actors, the picturisation skills of the camera men, the direction of the director. I cherished each every scene, every minute details that the movie has covered captured. Be it the mosquitoes roaming around Alia Bhatt's face while giving the emotional scene where she discloses incidents of her childhood; Or the tears and mucus when Randeep Hooda is unbelievably emotional and crying for the surreal happiness Mahabir was getting and feeling guilty for the sufferings he and his mom had been through and was missing his mom.

Honestly Randeep Hooda is a true versatile actor. Way to go buddy!! Keep smiling and enchanting the whole world with your acting skills and your breathtaking smile. And yeah your rugged look makes you look even more handsome :)

Amazing Thunderous Night!

Yesterday!

What a thunderous night! Amazing! Felt like I was in the Iraq Nuclear war! What lightning! It was a like a chain of lightning electrified to each other. The sound was terrifying and it reminded me of the movie The Soccerers Apprentice. The cupboards were vibrating with the thunders. The light was blinding. It was truly the scariest night for me. I was not even scared a cinch during the tsunami in Odisha. But this took the hell out of my soul.

But more than that I was wondering how scared those people living in those one room quarter must not be.

This morning, everything is so calm and quite as if nothing had happened in the night! Wow!

Amazing experience! I wished I could record a bit of the night, however, I was so scared to even move from the bed. My son even pushed himself to my side fully. Amazing night!

Have you?

How many of you realize that we loose more water than the amount we get to drink using automatic water purifier? Those water go directly to the drain, not inside of earth. Especially in a place like Bangalore people should shift to use manual purifier or just the 15 liters water bottles. We have done so. Have you?

My Latest Passion - Novels!

I have been observing that I read a lot more Novels than I watch movie... I have finally understood the craziness one feels when they read a story than watching it on a screen.

One explore so much about one's power of imagination, visualisation, seeing things through mind's eyes!! Oh! I love it. God's grace be on me and help me find time to manage my work, personal life and imaginary, in other words magical life. :)

Oh yes, the same kind of feeling I get when I listen an English song. I couldn't believe those English vocabulary has such power to create a beautiful song along with the variety of music instrument and the power of the singer's voice.

And oh yeah - I love my flipkart ebooks. So far the best ebook reading app that I have found. All other readers are just average ones, including the ones that the book publishers provide.

Have a wonderful day and keep smiling!!

Happy Woman's day, 2014

It's been a long time, since I wrote anything in my personal blog. Well, today is Womens' day. So, thought why not write something by taking sometime off from routine life.

Just a thought, the women who actually suffer in life, refrain to show it to the world. The one who have everything in life are the ones who usually complain! Isn't it?

Anyway, Happy Woman's day to everyone! <3

that one person...

"Sometimes in life there really are bonds formed that can never be broken. Sometimes you really can find that one person who will stand by you no matter what. Maybe you will find it in a spouse and celebrate it with your dream wedding. But there's also the chance that the one person you can count on for a lifetime, the one person who knows you sometimes better than you know yourself is the same person who's been standing beside you all along."

When I listen to these dialogues from the movie "Brides War" the first person who comes to my mind is my best friend 'Chandana Shree'. She is that one person...
