Son or Car?

There's another version of the "Be Patient" story I heard from my friend recently. I have tried to write in my own words. Hope you like it. Here's it.

There was a happy family with mother-father and a son, 6 years old. The father used to ride a scooter even though he had a capability of riding a car. The son by seeing other kids' fathers started asking his father about buying a car. Everyday he would ask him to get him a car and he would deny. However he kept that point in his mind. By listening this for a long time, he finally thought one day of buying a car. And he thought, "I would give my son a surprise." In the next couple of days he bought a car. Before his son arrived from his school the Car was standing in their garage. When he arrived and saw the new car, he was excited and ran to his father and gave him a hug and said, "Thank you Daddy!".

The son showed his car to everyone, to all his friends and neighbors. Everyone in the society came to know that the father loved his son so much that he bought the car for him at this age itself. His relatives also came to know that the father loves his son so much. The words spread from mouth to mouth and soon everybody in the area knew about it.

One fine morning, on a Saturday, the father saw his son scrapping something with a pin on the front side of the car. And he could see the paint is out and there were dust near the car wheel. He became furious with this behavior of his son. He took the bamboo stick lying in a corner of the stair case, and started hitting his son. He scolded him and asked why did he scrapped the paint. The son started crying out loudly and was telling sorry continuously. His wife came out and asked why is he beating him like this. He explained her and she took his son away, inside home. The son was still crying. The mother applied some antiseptic to the places where he was hurt. He cried on her lap and fell asleep after a while.

The father was so angry, he then took the newspaper and took his chair and started reading it. The neighbors watched everything. And they started murmuring about the father's behavior. When he looked at them, they all went inside. After the son woke up, neither he spoke to his father nor he came to his sight. The next morning too went silently. In the evening, the son came to his father and said, "I am sorry Daddy. I ruined your car." The father said, "OK". And the son went inside still with a sad face.

The next day, Monday, when he was about to go to office, before sitting in the car, he thought of checking out how much damage happened. He came to the front, saw what has happened and tears rolled out of his eyes. He saw,

"I Love My Daddy so much, for he bought this Car for M

Eventually the 'e' is missing for he was beaten up by then.

The father was confused how to react. He felt so much guilty for what he had done, and felt ashamed of himself, for everyone in the area knows that he has bought this car for his son. And he only had beaten his son.

For whom had he really bought this car for? Is Son more important and precious than the Car? He can repair the scratches of the car, but can he repair the scars he has made in the heart of that little fellow?

What a pity!! The human race is so intelligent but still gives more value to the machines than the human emotions. The certain percentage of humans who understand the value of the emotions, I salute them. And the rest, I really pity on you.
